Carreker is a $119 million company that provides products and services to more than 250 global clients. The Company's global bank clients include: the top 20 in the United States and 75 of the next 100; the top six in Canada; the top four in the United Kingdom; the top two in Ireland; the top five in Australia; the top four in South Africa, and select financial institutions in South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Business Divisions

In pursuit of its mission – to be the premier provider of payment solutions to financial institutions - Carreker services its client base through four main divisions: Global Payments Technology (GPT), Revenue Enhancement, Global Payments Consulting (GPC), and Carretek, which provides offshore payments processing.

Global Payments Technology, or GPT, is Carreker's largest division and includes three business lines: Payments Technology, Risk Solutions, and Cash and Logistics Solutions. In each of these areas, Carreker has a technology footprint that is unrivalled by its competitors in the banking industry.

Carreker’s payment solutions address two important, evolving technology areas for banks:

  • Enterprise Capture: the ability to capture an image of a paper check at virtually any point in the payment process
  • Convergent Payment Processing: the subsequent processing functions for handling captured items as electronification causes processing convergence

Revenue Enhancement is Carreker's second largest division and includes two groups, Revenue Enhancement and Customer Value Enhancement. Revenue Enhancement is a set of practices and methodology for helping clients realize sustainable revenue increases. Customer Value Enhancement is a technology, methodology, and consulting solution that helps clients integrate customer information with their customer initiatives to increase profitable revenue.

Global Payments Consulting, or GPC, is Carreker's third largest division with three primary consulting practices: Payment Operations, Payments Strategy, and Float Management. GPC helps clients protect their payment revenue streams, retain their customers, and develop new sources of revenue with innovative products and services — all while lowering the cost of their paper payments business and carefully investing in new technology for the future.

Carretek is a business process offshore outsourcing partnership with Mastek, an established outsourcing company with facilities in India. Carretek leverages Carreker's current relationships and its imaging technology, to create an attractive offering for banks seeking to reduce costs and improve the quality of payment processing. Carretek lets financial institutions take advantage of a global workforce to reduce payment processing costs while maintaining high quality, transforming processes, and taking advantage of technology advances. Clients can typically realize 30% to 40% cost savings.
