XP/BenchMark™
PROVIDING INTERNET ACCESS, FROM ANY LOCATION, TO SORTER AND
OPERATOR STATISTICAL DATA
The XP/Benchmark service receives your data from an automated
transfer agent running at your local sorter sites. The transfer
agent gathers the data provided by Carreker's 3890/XP Sorter
Statistics Program (XP/STAT) running on your sorters and
transmits the data to the XP/BenchMark server. You can easily
configure the transfer agent to upload the data at any frequency-once
an hour, once a day-although the data must be uploaded at
least once a week. When the service receives the data, it verifies
and loads it into a secure database on the Carreker's Web
site.
You can access the service on the Carreker's Web site to view
graphical and text-based reports that have been generated from
your data. The XP/BenchMark reporting service is easy to use
and extremely flexible, providing millions of possible views
into your data. You can print the reports at your local site
if you want.
Because the database contains data from all customers using
this service, XP/BenchMark provides the ability to view accurate,
up-to-date industry statistics. To protect each organization's
anonymity, specific names of organizations, operators, sort
types, or job names are not identified in the industry statistics.
Organization-specific information is only available when viewing
your own organization's data.
Through the XP/BenchMark web site, you can authorize additional
people to view data by providing each person with a user name
and password to access your organization's data. With a proper
user name and password, you can access the data from any computer
that has Internet access.
This service uses the statistics captured by XP/STAT on the
3890/XP Series of document processors, and the NCR 7780 and
UT600/1000 document processors operating in XP emulation mode.
